Let’s look at some of the major demanding games of 2015 and early 2016.
In general, having more RAM does not necessarily improve your graphics settings-games with large textures need of video RAM (VRAM) on the graphics hardware than the system RAM. A game may recommend more RAM than it requires, and this can result in smoother performance. It’s all about the games you want to play and how much you want performance. Having the very minimum amount of RAM can make the game playable, but It’s all about the games you want to play. Thus it is not surprising that many games require 6GB to 8GB of RAM on PC, too.
Both the PS4 and Xbox One include 8GB of RAM. Many games these days are multi-platform and designed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and PC. On a computer that stores massive databases, virtual machines, and other huge things in memory, even 32GB of RAM may not be sufficient. On a computer that just needs basic office programs a Web browser, and even 4 GB may be sufficient, depending on the programs you are running. Thus, the amount of RAM you need depends entirely on the programs you run on your computer and how eager they are RAM. You need enough RAM for the programs you run on your computer can store all their data in RAM without changing it out on your hard drive, which will slow things down. Games, your operating system and programs you use a memory footprint system. You mainly just need to worry about the amount of RAM you have, not how fast it is. Yes, DDR4 RAM faster than DDR3 RAM, but the speed difference for PC games is minor. An SSD will give you faster loading times of a mechanical hard drive.īut the RAM is different. A faster processor will help more CPU bound games like Civilization V and other real-time games, the strategy that need to run a large number of calculations in the background rather than simply rendering graphics.
Check out the updated requirements below:
Quantum Break is due to hit the Xbox One and PC on April 5, 2016. He added that Remedy knows it has to make Quantum Break a top of the line PC game and the team is working on that. Ruha wanted to make it clear that the company has been giving the press plenty of time to see what kind of game they are putting out in Quantum Break, saying they recently allowed a demo that lasted anywhere from 90 to 120 minutes. The company has said there will be more details about what gamers can expect later this month. Head of PR at Remedy Entertainment, Thomas Puha took to Twitter in order to set the record straight about the new information. Despite the confirmation of the the PC version and the requirements, Remedy is hinting that not all of the cats are out of the bag when it comes to the Quantum Break PC version. The minimum requirements for the game, as well as recommended settings and what kind of settings you will want to have if you are running the game on ultra have all been updated. That makes some sense considering the title was originally only going to be coming to the Xbox One. Once that announcement was made, Remedy Entertainment started sharing what some of the PC requirements are going to be for this game and it’s pretty clear that the company has made a game that only the best of the best PCs are going to be able to run.
We found out earlier this week that Quantum Break is coming to both the Xbox One and the PC.
